The new Camaro is Chevrolet’s answer to the Ford Mustang all over again. The Chevy Sonic: Kicking the Aveo Habit

Chevy has launched a complete redesign of their subcompact offering replacing the Aveo with a new model christened the Sonic. This hip new ride aims to convert younger buyers to small-car driving enthusiasts by focusing on a pleasurable driving experience. To do this, Chevy has recruited a team of Corvette engineers in the hopes that some of the muscle magic will rub off on this baby brother of the Chevrolet family.

The new Sonic is available as a sedan or a hatchback with OnStar, and plenty of airbags. In the engine department, this little ride has a 1.8-liter four-cylinder standard or an optional 1.4-liter turbocharged engine. The 1.8L engine will offer a choice of the five-speed manual or a six-speed automatic transmission. The turbo model will let you feel those gears with its own six-speed manual transmission.

2012 GMC Canyon – A Worthy Investment
